This policy describes the website implementation as it exists. It should be reviewed again if the contact, analytics, hosting, or business data practices change.

Information submitted through the estimate form

The form asks for your name, email address, phone number, service needed, project location, how you heard about the business, and project details. This information is used to review and respond to your project inquiry. The form does not request a marketing opt-in or accept file uploads.

How form delivery works

The website sends the inquiry by email through Resend, an email-delivery provider, to Handyman Unlimited. After the email is delivered, the same inquiry is also recorded in a business-managed Google Sheet so the team can organize and follow up with leads. The website does not add the inquiry to a public or on-site customer database. If email delivery is not configured or fails, the form reports that the message was not delivered and provides the public phone number.

Technical logs and spam prevention

Hosting and security systems may process technical data such as IP address, browser information, request time, requested URL, and error status. The form uses a hidden spam field, a minimum-submission-time check, and a temporary hashed connection identifier for rate limiting. The application does not intentionally write full inquiry contents to its logs.

Analytics and cookies

Google Analytics is loaded only when a valid measurement ID is configured. If enabled, it can receive non-PII interaction events such as phone-link clicks, estimate CTA clicks, and form success or error states; names, emails, phone numbers, project descriptions, and form field values are not sent as analytics event data. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar browser storage. When analytics is not configured, the site does not intentionally set nonessential analytics or advertising cookies and therefore shows no decorative cookie banner.

Retention

The website application does not persist completed inquiry records in its own database. Delivered inquiries may remain in the business email account, Resend’s delivery systems, and the business lead spreadsheet for the practical period needed to respond, manage the project conversation, troubleshoot delivery, and meet operational obligations. The business should periodically remove inquiry data that is no longer needed.

Third-party processors

The active processors depend on configuration and hosting. They may include the website host, Resend for form email, Google Workspace for lead organization, and Google Analytics when enabled. Links to social networks, review platforms, and Google Business Profile take you to those providers, whose policies govern activity on their websites.

Security limitations

Reasonable validation, rate protection, and transport security reduce risk, but no website or email system can promise absolute security. Do not place sensitive financial, medical, identity, or account information in the project-details field.
